Chris Burns has quickly emerged as an expert in new construction condo sales, real estate development opportunities, and marketing luxury single family homes in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. He has sold over $150 million in real estate since 2013, all while building his business servicing a wide range of clients. Chris' clientele have characterized his approach as detail-oriented and aggressive, and he takes pride in his ability to negotiate creative solutions in a competitive market. Chris and his group are the first, if not only, Washington, D.C. real estate team to employ an off-market acquisitions associate for the benefit of their developer, investor, and end-user clients. Chris is also a go-to resource for Washington, D.C.'s Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA). He is fully versed in TOPA strategy and the procedure of the law, and has successfully represented landlords, buyers, tenants and developers alike in over 50 transactions involving this complicated process. Chris has personally developed several condo projects in D.C. and has also invested in multifamily properties that have been sourced through his TOPA expertise. After graduating cum laude from Colgate University, Chris spent a year playing and studying the sport of cricket in India. Prior to becoming an agent, Chris was a well-known DJ and music producer, and has released numerous original compositions and remixes on national and international record labels. Chris is also an avid tennis player and enthusiast of contemporary art and architecture. He currently lives in Chevy Chase (D.C.) with his wife, two daughters, and two Maine Coon cats.
